Willow for sale from £3.50 a bundle
Wattle panels and willow bundles are both available for sale at Close Sartfield nature reserve as part of a Manx Wildlife Trust initiative.
Midweek Muchers have created them as part of a programme of 'sustainable management' - they've begun coppicing to stimulate growth of trees on site.
The biggest wattle is around two metres wide, and 1-1.2 metres high - costing around £12 - other sizes can be shortened to measure.
They're ideal for providing a natural windbreak, or a frame for other plants to grow.
All money generated from the sale goes back to funding conservation work on Island - for more information, contact the reserves officer at tricial@manxwt.org.uk.
