Move follows JFSC review
A senior partner at Moore Stephens has been banned from being involved in any financial services business for the time being.
Jersey-based Clive Barton had responsibility for the group in Gibraltar, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
He, along with a partner in charge of trust company business, Kathleen Gillen, stepped down following a Jersey Financial Supervision Commission review.
It raised 'significant issues' over standards of due diligence, tax advice, levels of commission charges and anti-money laundering standards.
The pair have been banned from being involved in any financial services business until the JFSC gives them permission to resume.
