Companies join forces to support aviation industry

Plans are underway to install an electric aircraft charging point at the Isle of Man Airport in the next two years.

Light aircraft handling provider 3 Legs Aviation Services Ltd has partnered with Aerovolt UK.

The companies say it will support the aviation industry here and attract new business opportunities including flight training providers and sustainable tourism initiatives.

Mark Langley, Founder of 3 Legs Aviation, said: "This partnership is a significant step towards a more sustainable aviation future for the Isle of Man.

"By supporting electric aircraft technology we are reducing aviation’s environmental impact while ensuring the Island remains at the forefront of innovation."
