Permission is being sought for an adult gaming centre on Nelson Street in Douglas.
Spin Mooar Limited would like to create a 'sophisticated and entertaining venue' featuring slot and gaming machines in what used to be a picture frame shop - The Artist.
According to the application the building will accommodate 12-14 gaming machines, a drinks cabinet and a vending machine.
It will also operate for 12 hours from 11am-11pm, seven days a week.
The company says it's 'committed to contributing positively to the local economy and the opening of the centre would create jobs, offer entertainment on the street and have economic benefits'.
It adds that it will implement measures to minimise noise and disruptions in the area and also use good gaming practices including age verification and offer a self-exclusion programme.
