
The Island's finance sector has heard about continuing efforts to turn the Island into a digital currency-friendly jurisdiction.
A packed business lunch seminar at Mount Murray (3 September) saw a room full of senior finance sector representatives addressed by a panel of experts about crypto currencies.
Organised by the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce, delegates were shown a presentation on currencies such as Bitcoin, before asking questions from the floor.
One of those on the panel was CEO of local company CoinCorner.com Charlie Woolnough.
He says there is plenty of interest in fostering this potential new business cluster - which he's confident will offer spin-offs for the wider Manx economy:
