No government financial support provided to King Gaming and Dalmine

Both companies recently had their licences cancelled by the Gambling Supervision Commission

Government says it hasn't provided financial support to two companies that are subject to an ongoing criminal investigation.

It comes after the Gambling Supervision Commission cancelled the licences of King Gaming and Dalmine Limited.

Chief Minister Alfred Cannan confirmed representatives from the two companies met with the enterprise minister in October last year.

However, he says no direct or indirect financial support has been provided.

The Isle of Man Constabulary previously revealed a number of people had been arrested in connection with its investigation - last month it confirmed the case is ongoing.

In response to the Tynwald written question from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse, Mr Cannan added that he's unable to comment further due to the ongoing investigation.
