Employers in the Isle of Man's hospitality and retail sectors are being encouraged to make the most of a new series of free training courses, on offer in the new year.
The Manx Welcome courses aim to improve customer service among Island businesses for both residents and vistors, and ensure people shop locally.
They are funded by government and offered at the Isle of Man College, and the only cost to employers is to pay their staff as normal while they attend.
Quality and services manager at the Department of Tourism Angela Byrne says the Manx Welcome scheme can be a springboard to an employee's future development:
Work underway to 'get confidence back in the economy'
Energy and food security "two most important things", says MHK
Gatwick drop-off fee rises again
Isle of Man inflation holds steady at 2.8 percent in November
