Staff from a Manx-based company have been helping provide fresh water to West Africa with a fundraising walk across the Isle of Man.
Eight workers from Panacea Pharma Projects raised money for Christian Aid by walking from Douglas to Peel along the old railway line.
The £800 they raised through sponsorship was matched by the company and a cheque for £1,600 was presented to Christian Aid at Panacea’s Middle River headquarters in Douglas.
Phil Craine of Christian Aid says the money will provide safe water to three drought-hit villages in Mali.
