Island's rivals have better facilities, says hotel consultant
The Isle of Man needs to 'get ahead of the competition' by investing in improved tourist accommodation.
A hotel consultant working with the Department for Enterprise says the Island's rivals, like Jersey and Guernsey, have a greater luxury accommodation offering.
Andrew Keeling of Hotel Solutions believes the government should invest in eco-friendly tourism and capitalise on the Biosphere status.
He told a Tynwald committee the Island is playing catch up:
