Food festival seeks hungry sponsors

DEFA unveils sponsorhip packages

Organisers of the Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival have launched sponsorship packages for next year's event.

More than 10,000 people visited this year's festival, an increase of 3000 on the previous year, generating estimated revenue of £200,000.

Marketing bosses at the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture are confident the successful formula over a September weekend will prove attractive to advertisers.

Sponsorship deals range from £1,000 to £10,000 - and according to DEFA Minister Geoffrey Boot provide ".. an unrivalled opportunity for sponsors to raise their profile as supporters of Manx produce and the local economy."

The 2017 Food and Drink Festival will be held on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September.
