A union boss says people shouldn't get the idea public sector workers are overpaid after government figures showed they earn an average £80 a week more than their private sector counterparts.
The statistics are included in the Manx Treasury's annual earnings survey, which shows the average public sector worker gets £652 for a 37-hour week, while those in the private sector do an hour more for £572.
