There’s a chance for the Island’s marketing professionals to find out how to stay on the right side of the law under the new General Data Protection Regulation regime next month.
Isle of Man Information Commissioner Iain McDonald and BLM partner Steve Kuncewicz will be explaining how businesses can comply with the laws at an event organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
The new GDPR rules come into force into force on 25 May, bringing the Isle of Man into line with EU requirements.
The event, which is open to CIM members and non-members, takes place at the Best Western Palace Hotel at noon on 20 June.
