MHK probes films' profitability
Treasury Minister Eddie Teare says a confidentiality agreement with CinemaNX means he can’t give financial details.
South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft had a question for written answer during this week’s Tynwald sitting about films financed by the Media Development Fund under CinexmaNX.
She wanted to see a comparison between profit generated by each movie and the figure sales agents had estimated each would make.
Mr Teare said each production is subject to an agreement which contains confidentiality provisions to protect the value of each project.
