'Incredible influence' of Patrick Cowley remembered
Estate agent Black Grace Cowley has paid tribute to one of its founding partners saying he ‘changed estate agency on the Island’.
Patrick Cowley died on New Year’s Day.
In a post on social media the company says he was instrumental in setting up the firm 31 years ago and his ‘incredible influence’ can still be seen to this day.
It adds: "Over a long and successful career Patrick very much changed estate agency on the Island with his wonderful charisma, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm; and he will always be remembered for his exceptional wit and his trademark dickie-bow.
"It’s hard to believe there has ever been a more popular businessman on this island and he will be sorely missed by his family and each and every person who had the pleasure of knowing him.
"RIP Patrick - we were so lucky to have you in our lives."
