Government accolades for carbon cutters
Businesses which are keener to go greener have been honoured at the government's 2016 Energy Awards.
The annual accolades recognise a range of organisations for cutting consumption and reducing their carbon footprint.
Prizes were handed out in categories such as Best Innovation and Best Saving.
Winners included Castletown-based SNX, which helped install groundbreaking lighting and airflow technology at Nobles Hospital and the new Henry Bloom Noble School.
Rushen Eco Energy scooped an award for its renewable energy overhaul of a Port Erin property, which saved the owners £13,000 per year.
Bernhard Schulte Ship Management, Complete Construction Services, the Department of Infrastructure, Douglas Borough Council and Port Erin Commissioners also received honours.
