Delays to doorstep recycling scheme

Customers reminded not to leave cartons out for collection

Isle of Man Creamery has taken to the decision to postpone its doorstep recycling scheme this month.

The programme had been due to start this week -  designed for doorstep delivery drivers to collect empty milk cartons for recycling.

However, it has been suspended to meet Government restrictions – which has instructed all non-essential stores and services to close.

Customers who have signed up to the scheme are being reminded not to leave any cartons out for collection this week.

The company has announced its recycling crates have arrived on Island but will be delivered in the week before the project’s revised date.

Residents can stay updated by following the IOM Creamery Facebook page.
