'New path' to business
Initial Coin Offerings - or ICOs - are hot in the financial technology press at the moment, with many specialists labelling it as a new path to fresh-faced business.
In layman's terms, ICOs are a way for companies to raise money using cryptocurrency, effectively eclipsing venture capital rounds as a source of fund-raising for start-ups.
The Isle of Man Government says it's copied the Island's current crypto framework, and added a layer of regulation to accommodate ICOs.
