Follows a series of in-person consultation events
Isle of Man residents have until the end of today to share their views on proposals for the Island’s first onshore windfarm.
The project, intended to be publicly owned and operated by Manx Utilities, would involve up to four turbines and is expected to generate more than a quarter of the Island’s electricity needs.
Earystane has been identified as the most suitable location, reportedly boasting one of the best average windspeeds in Europe.
Manx Utilities held a series of 'community consultation events' last month, but those who were unable to attend are encouraged to complete the online consultation instead.
The consultation can be found HERE.
