Survey carried out by the Education and Employers charity
The Chamber of Commerce is hosting a breakfast seminar next week.
Sponsored by Smart HR the event on the 28th June is called "Drawing the Future" and is being run in association with Junior Achievement Isle of Man, the Department of Education, Sport and Culture, Ramsey Grammar School, and the Education and Employers Charity (UK).
The event takes its title from the survey carried out by the Education and Employers Charity (UK), and the charity’s Chief Executive Nick Chambers will be the guest speaker at the seminar.
He will explain the significance of the survey, the biggest of its kind, which asked primary school children aged seven to 11 to draw a picture of the job they want to do when they grow up. The report was presented to the World Economic Business Forum at Davos in January this year.
The seminar is in the Cushag Suite at the Palace Hotel in Douglas from 8am to 9.30am.
