Manx Lottery Trust donated £40,000
A community facility in Onchan is set to be refurbished after the award of £40,000 from the Manx Lottery Trust.
The grant will allow 2nd Onchan Scouts, which has around 120 young members, to improve its headquarters in School Road.
This includes a new entrance foyer, new toilet and shower facilities, and changes to make the premises disabled-friendly.
Group Secretary Verona Addy says it's welcome news for the scouts, and also the wider Onchan community'.
