The Isle of Man is being introduced to the concept of up-cycling.
It's a process where disused or unwanted items are transformed into products of greater value than the originals.
An exhibition of up-cycled furniture was staged at St John's Mill recently, with all the items having been donated, bought for a few pounds from charity shops or rescued from skips at civic amenity sites.
Dawn Hamer from the start-up firm Interior Rehab says it's a business venture with a strong commitment to helping the environment:
Work underway to 'get confidence back in the economy'
Energy and food security "two most important things", says MHK
Gatwick drop-off fee rises again
Isle of Man inflation holds steady at 2.8 percent in November
