Passengers on ferries have raised £14,000 for medical and rescue equipment around the TT course.
Steam Packet passengers raised cash for the Rob Vine Fund through on-board collections. Since the initiative started 12 years ago, £140,000 has been raised.
Captain Allan Albiston, who co-ordinates the collection buckets, says it’s a well known charity amongst visiting bikers.
He says the generosity shown by travellers makes the Steam Packet the single biggest contributor to the Rob Vine Fund.
