MNH’s immersive historical theatre group is back
Audiences are being invited to dive into the legacy of Sir William Hillary via an 'immersive theatrical experience'.
Manx National Heritage’s historical theatre group, Labyrinth: History in Action, is returning today (14 November) with a brand-new performance.
Inspired by the nautical tales featured in the All at Sea exhibition, Labyrinth: All at Sea will take place at the House of Manannan until 16 November.
The immersive theatrical experience offers a promenade-style performance, guiding the audience through the museum, where historical figures and true stories will come to life.
Katie King, Curator at Manx National Heritage said: “Labyrinth: All at Sea is not only a wonderfully enjoyable and entertaining experience but also a really enlightening way to learn about some of the lesser-known stories from our Manx maritime history.”
Stories explored will include the ‘wreck of the herring fleet’ in which 21 men died in a storm at the mouth of Douglas Harbour.
MNH adds: "This fast-paced and interactive event promises to be a highlight of the season, so don’t miss your chance to embark on this remarkable journey.
"Gather your crew and prepare for a night filled with adventure, history and the spirit of the sea!"
Performances start at 5pm, 7pm and 8.30pm.
Tickets £18 and are available online HERE.
