Latest cheque presented to club in Douglas this week
Customers at a pub in Douglas have reached a significant milestone in their support for one of the Isle of Man's road racing events.
This week the Southern 100 Club was presented with £2,000 from the Old Market Inn.
It brings the funds raised by the public house, over the last 20 years, to more than £25,000 (£25,100).
Club President Phil Taubman and Chairman George Peach say they continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity of the community in what's been a challenging 2023:
Port Erin shop window makes final for British award
Successful project to remove invasive rodents from the Calf of Man
Manx Opera singer to perform at Island's largest carol service
Peel RNLI volunteer recognised for three decades of service
