The Shoebox Appeal

Take part in Operation Christmas Child aka The Shoebox Appeal! This appeal has been running on the Island since 2002 and the Isle of Man has sent over 40,000 gift filled shoeboxes to underprivileged children in Eastern Europe and Africa.
How To Pack A Shoebox:-
Firstly get an ordinary sized shoebox and wrap it in Christmas paper
Then fill it with things for a child to love and cherish, like a doll or stuffed animal.
Also include full things to do, like colouring in books with pen/pencils/crayons or football with a pump.
Other things to include are hygiene items such as soap hairbrushes hair clips toothbrush etc.
And school supplies are also very useful like a notepad a solar calculator pens pencils erasers etc.
Something to keep warm with is also great hats, gloves, scarves etc.
Once the Shoebox is Filled with all your great things then Fill out the leaflet & Place it on top. These can be picked up from Various shops throughout the Island like The Work or The Entertainer in Douglas, Arg Beiyn Vets in Onchan.
Finally just drop it off at one of our many locations throughout the Island:- Douglas
The Entertainer, Black Grace Cowley, St George’s Church, Arg Beiyn Vets in Onchan, Laxey Dental Surgery, Arg Beiyn Vets in Ramsey, St Johns Mill, Peel Cathedral, Mantons in Port Erin and Castletown Library & Civic Centre.
