An evening comprising dinner and a talk at KWC, celebrating 30+ years of work by Pahar Trust Nepal and the generosity of the Isle of Man.
The speaker, Hari Magar, is from Nepal. He held various roles while serving in the British Army with the Royal Gurkha Rifles Regiment. During his tour in Afghanistan in 2010, he lost both of his legs above the knee to an IED. He is now a speaker who works to transform perceptions of what is possible for people with a disability. Through his achievements, Hari aims to inspire people to climb their own ‘mountains’.
