Joy Dunlop is one of today’s foremost Scottish Gaelic singers. A passionate ambassador of Gaelic language and culture, Joy is also in demand as a television presenter, dancer, journalist and educator and is a wonderful choral director.
Alongside her job as Yn Greinneyder – Manx Language Development Officer – for Culture Vannin, Ruth is a leading Manx Gaelic singer, who has performed around the world and released several critically-acclaimed albums (under 'Ruth Keggin'). She has translated a beautiful round into Manx, especially for this workshop.
While this workshop is aimed at adults, children over 11+ are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.
This free workshop is hosted by Culture Vannin as part of the Cooish (Manx language festival) - www.learnmanx.com/cooish
