Manx born Archibald Knox was captivated and motivated by the unique cultural heritage, spirituality and natural beauty of the Isle of Man. As an innovative artist, designer and teacher he has left an extraordinary legacy both on the Isle of Man and beyond. Today his distinctive Celtic designs are synonymous with Manx art and culture and his work continues to be a source of inspiration worldwide. The exhibition will showcase his extraordinary talent whilst exploring how the Isle of Man inspired his art.
