The IOM Victorian Society will be meeting at a NEW venue this year, ie. St. Andrew's Church, Parkfield Corner, at St. Ninian's Crossroads with parking on site.

On Friday 31st January the Isle of Man Victorian Society are holding their AGM, followed by a much anticipated talk by Tony Cain entitled 'Home of Happy Holidays'. The theme of Tony's talk will be the genesis of the Island's tourist industry, and how the new transport systems enabled the visiting holidaymakers to access the Island's diverse range of seaside towns, villages and other resorts. There will be a special focus on Glen Wyllin as a destination of choice. The meeting takes place at a NEW venue - ie. St. Andrew's Church, Parkfield Corner, at St. Ninian's Crossroads with parking on site. Non-members most welcome - Light Refreshments will be served following the talk (the illustrated talk commences at 8pm following the society's formal AGM which commences at 7.30pm).
