Ethiopia Challenge 2021

Care Epilepsy Ethiopia invites you to join the October 2021 Ethiopia Challenge. This is a fundraising trek, based in the Simien Mountains National Park, and will include the walking ascent of Ras Dashen, the highest peak in Ethiopia, at 4,550m.

The trip will include visits to the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Lalibela and Gondar. The rock hewn Churches in Lalibela have been described as ‘the eighth wonder of the world’. In Gondar, the Royal Enclosure has been described as ‘Africa’s Camelot’. We will also visit some of the tourist sites in Addis Ababa.

A Presentation will be held at St. John’s Mill, Mill Road, St Johns, IM4 3AF on Tuesday, 16 February at 7.00 pm. Parking is available on site. An information pack will be available. I hope that you will be able to join me to hear more about the trip and this fascinating country.
