Boxing Day Cammag

Come along to take part in the Isle of Man's own unique sport on the great annual north vs south game!
Dating back to a time before football arrived in the Island, cammag is an early form of hurling/shinty/hockey, but with fewer rules (and a lot less skill!). Craft yourself a stick from the hedgerows (or borrow one from John Dog when you get there) and come along to the Fairfield, beside Tynwald Hill, for 2pm on 26 December.
No experience, knowledge or skill necessary - all welcome to come along, get stuck in and have fun!
By 3pm, the three halves will be over and a winner will be declared, at which point all will head over the road to the Tynwald Inn for a drink and some traditional Manx music.
