Ramsey resident Cal Crutchlow recovered to finish eight in Sunday’s German MotoGP.

Crutchlow was attacking his Yamaha team-mate Andrea Dovizioso for fourth place when he ran straight on at turn one and was forced to take to the gravel.

He rejoined the field in 11th spot but battled back to take eighth.

Dani Pedrosa won the race for the third year in a row.
