Petitioner's call for action
A prominent conservationist has labelled government's current attitude towards historic buildings 'scandalous'.
Charles Guard lodged a Petition for Redress on the matter two years ago - but a recent attempt to advance it through Tynwald was rejected by members.

Mr Guard has identified around 275 examples of buildings in need of registration to protect them from future neglect.
